(Aug. 1, 2022) - The Miami Orthopaedic Society recently announced its new board of directors, and Gilbert D. Beauperthuy-Rojas, DO, FAAOS, was selected as the group’s new president.

Dr. Beauperthuy-Rojas has been serving the Miami community for over 25 years and is the medical director of the Orthopedic Center at Coral Gables Hospital.

The Miami Orthopaedic Society is an organization dedicated to serving the needs of orthopaedic surgeons that practice or train in South Florida.

Dr. Beauperthuy-Rojas is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and a national and international leader in treating sports injuries and degenerative conditions of the shoulder, hip, and knee. He emphasizes rapid recovery to enable his patients to return to work and sports and resume their daily life.
